Regardless of what it is that you want to change, 30-Day Challenge is an effective tool to achieve your goals. It is not so important what challenge you set for yourself but how you prepare for it and about laying the right foundation.
I used to live with the pain you might be feeling right now.
Even though, I grew up as an only child, blessed with a wonderful family and a life you see in the movies, I somehow missed to learn the part of how to achieve goals. Mind you I was great at setting high goals but sucked at achieving them! Pretty soon everything vanished into thin air, and I was facing some chaotic downhill rides.
˝Luckily˝ I went through hell and back, and during this hideous journey, I have realized what my mistakes were. So, I consciously decided to do something about it.
In my pursuit of happiness, I tried out a lot of different strategies and techniques. Nothing really worked. One failed attempt after another made me start wondering what I was doing wrong.
Never set too ambitious goals, don't push yourself too hard, and only focus on one goal at the time.
I was pushing myself too hard, trying to achieve three or four goals at the same time, but in the end failed at each and one of them.
Work on your self-belief; if you want to conquer the fear of failure, you must believe in yourself that you can do it.
When you fail at something, you don't feel good about it. Even though failing is actually learning in disguise, it doesn't feel good when it happens. I was no exception. I felt atrocious, and my self-confidence was deep in the gutter.
Don't be blind for the beauty around you; buckle up and enjoy the ride. It doesn't matter if it gets bumpy from time to time just observe and learn from the process.
Problems, sadness, dissatisfaction, and despair make you blind. You don't see anything else but those things. Give yourself a break, take a deep breath, and look for something beautiful. Life is a game, and you need to find a way to learn how to play it.
The goals you set have to be measurable and easy to monitor.
Another thing I've learned on this path of becoming a better person was that you need to set goals you can measure. A proof of your progress, no matter how small will be your biggest motivation.
And last but not least! If you can't solve your problem, we WILL solve it with you.
The beauty of working together. Most of us need motivation when we are trying to achieve our goals. A lot of us fail due to the lack of self-discipline, lack of self-motivation or lack of self-drive. Working as a part of the team brings that missing piece to the table. Support, motivation, even the rivalry will help you to do more than you expected - every day. The path will become a game, and your team players will become your wingmen.
